St. Louis DWI Lawyer

Misdemeanor and Felony DWI Defense in St. Louis

The courts in St. Louis take drunk driving seriously, and if you have been arrested for DWI you face tough penalties. Since the day he graduated from law school, Attorney Brent Labovitz has dedicated his entire career to the practice of criminal defense, and has successfully resolved all types of charges for hundreds of people in our community. He knows how concerned you may be for your future, and will meet with you for a confidential consultation at your earliest convenience to discuss a strategy for having the penalty you face reduced or having the charges dropped. It may even be possible to secure an acquittal if you act now.

You can be charged with DWI when there is evidence that you were driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A large percentage of DWI convictions are based on test results which prove that the defendant was driving with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%. The penalty for a first time conviction includes 6 months in jail and a $500 fine, as well as a 30-day DWI license suspension and 60 days i f driving with a suspended license. The penalty will be increased with subsequent convictions, with several years in prison and a driver's license revocation for a multiple/felony DWI. Under the Zero Tolerance laws of the state, a minor can also face penalties for drinking and driving, even if their BAC level is below .08.

St. Louis DWI Attorney: We help you fight back.

Retaining a St. Louis criminal defense lawyer early is crucial to maximize your chances of avoiding a negative outcome. You have only 15 days after your arrest to request a DWI administrative hearing from the Missouri Department of Revenue, or you could lose your license regardless of the outcome of your criminal case. Your attorney will represent you at the administrative hearing, as well as in negotiations with the prosecutor and in court, at all times advocating for your rights. No matter how bad the situation may appear to you now, there may be a way to resolve the charges, such as by challenging the validity of the field sobriety tests or the breath and blood tests, or by demonstrating that your Constitutional rights were violated in the traffic stop and investigation. Take decisive action as soon as possible after your arrest and contact a St. Louis DWI attorney who will fight to help you avoid a driver's license suspension and criminal penalties.

Whatever your circumstances are, this is the man to see in St. Louis I'm obviously a criminal (even if I'm innocent), otherwise why would I know Brent? Even if there's that rare chance you're "innocent"... Whatever your circumstances are, this is the man to see in St. Louis. My case was very high profile and if Brent hadn't been in my corner I would have been a very old man if and/or when I was released from incarceration. 10+ felonies and I actually walked out of the courtroom. If you're Googling and came across this then you're done! Stop shopping around; don't buy the hype printed in magazines that a publicist promotes and those once great attorneys pay for. Spend your money on someone that's actually there for you. My case(s) have been years in the making. Brent respected me and my family. He stood up and spoke up when I was too afraid to. If you're reading this, then I truly feel your pain. Weather it's for yourself or someone you love and you're panicking and don't know what to do... It's an awful feeling. Before you say yes to any of the letters in the mail or the many other ways attorneys attack you with "you need me, I'm the best"... Talk to Brent and save your butt.
